The moonlight finale after a sun-out: the moon over the pond, the remaining fish come to say hi, the “Not yet” line on the result card
Boop, the little fish with a bobber on his head

How stakes work

From level 3 the fish get quicker and a miss costs sun — from the third miss in a round on Normal, every miss on Pro. When the sun goes down with fish left, the level ends with “Not yet”: no star, the node stays unlit, and the fish still come to say hi in the moonlight.

Replay the level for free as often as you like. Or keep fishing from the continue card for gems — 100, then 200, then 400 within one round, at most three times, never with a countdown; “No thanks” is always one tap. After four tries without a star on the same ordinary level, the next try comes with a bigger hook, announced on the card.

Only four things ever take a fish away, and the card before the level announces every one of them: the shark’s bite, the dolphin’s steal, the octopus’s grab and the boomerang on the marked peaks. A tap on a sea creature is never a miss, and a mouth the weather closes under your finger still counts as a catch.

Stars come from the sun alone. No bait, pet, pack or continue buys a star; purchases never change the fish or the odds; gear from the hook tree changes your tool, never which fish bites or what it pays.

No ads. No chat. No accounts.

No ads

No advertising networks, no ad SDKs, no tracking permission, no analytics.

No chat

No free text anywhere. Fish names come from a picture word bank, reactions and waves are preset, and every character is scripted.

No accounts

No sign-in, no e-mail address, no password. A nickname and an avatar are all a fisher card has.

Works fully offline

Levels, aquarium, Reef League, daily pond, duels, Splash Royale, the Tide Calendar and every event are computed on the device from the date.

Sea-names

Other players are shown under invented sea-names, never nicknames — in the league, in Royale, in a crew and in a visited tank.

Rated 13+

One game for everyone, with no age question in the app; the terms set a minimum age of 13.

Streaks pause, never break

The Tide Streak grants one freeze a week and banks two; beyond that it pauses and resumes where it was. No “streak at risk” message exists.

Quiet hours

Set them in Settings. The music rests on its calm layer between rounds, no reminder lands inside them, and the storybook’s last page says goodnight.

Reminders you own

Off until you switch them on, at most one a day, scheduled on the device from your own play times, never about gems, prices or a gap.

How purchases work

Every gem can be earned by fishing. The Shop’s Gems tab sells fixed gem packs, one-time sets, the gem jar and the Gold Tide Pass — a season pass with a gold reward track for the current month that does not renew. No loot boxes, no random content, no event stage for sale.

Every price is shown in your store’s currency before you buy, and every purchase asks for a plain “Buy for …” confirmation. A continue card shows its gem price and, when the wallet is short, the smallest pack that covers it. The welcome pack is offered for the first 24 hours after the first launch and then gone; the month’s Tide set shows its end date on its card.

Purchased gems never expire. “Restore purchases” lives in the same tab, and the stores’ own purchase approvals (Ask to Buy, Google Play’s approval) work in addition on devices that use them. Boop and the sea’s cast are never drawn next to a price.

Four fishers, one device

Up to four fisher cards on one device. Each keeps its own pond, aquarium, album and progress — everyone keeps their own pond.

The data the game keeps

Nickname, avatar, progress, fish names, the honorific Boop uses, your titles, the Captain’s log, the album and the storybook — all of it stays on the device. Nothing leaves it until you switch the buddy features on.

  • Buddy features (buddy codes, gifts, waves, code duels, the Everyone ranks, crews, visiting a buddy’s aquarium) are off on every install until you switch them on under Shop → Gems tab → Privacy. Even then, other players only ever see a sea-name.
  • With the switch on, the shared rows are small and short-lived: daily-pond and code-duel entries expire after 8 days, your tank’s picture for visiting — decoration ids, positions and terrain under a random id, no text, no names — after 90 days.
  • A crew shares one row under a random crew id: the week’s fish counts per seat, no names, kept 90 days. Nobody leads a crew and nobody can be kicked.
  • “Wipe my online data” lives on the same card and removes everything shared under your buddy code.
  • No analytics, no ad networks, no location, no contacts, no photos.
