How to restore purchases

Bought a set on another device, or reinstalled the app? Open the Shop (Home → the gems counter, or Settings → "Shop"), switch to the Gems tab and tap "Restore purchases". The store looks up what was bought with the same Apple or Google account and unlocks it again.

Restoring works for the one-time sets (Starter, Aquarium, Captain’s, Pirate’s, Abyss and the welcome pack). Gem packs, the gem jar, the month’s Tide set and the Gold Tide Pass are consumables: the stores treat them as used up the moment they are bought, so they cannot be restored — the gems themselves are part of the saved game on the device, and purchased gems never expire.

If a purchase is missing after restoring, write to us with the store receipt (Apple or Google send one by e-mail) — never with payment details.

How the Shop works

Every gem in Peekafish can be earned by fishing. The Shop’s Gems tab sells fixed gem packs, one-time sets, the gem jar and the Gold Tide Pass — a season pass with a gold reward track for the current month that does not renew. Purchases never change the fish, the levels or the base odds, no product has random content, and purchased gems never expire. Reminders are optional, one a day at most.

No prices are hidden: every pack and set shows its price in your store’s currency before you buy, every purchase asks for a plain "Buy for …" confirmation, and a continue card in a round shows the gem price and, when the wallet is short, the smallest pack that covers it. The welcome pack is offered for the first 24 hours after the first launch and then gone; the month’s Tide set shows its end date on its card. There is no countdown on a continue card and nothing that rushes you.

Also in the Gems tab: "Restore purchases", the privacy card with the buddy switch and "Wipe my online data", the optional daily reminder and Quiet hours. Apple’s Ask to Buy and Google Play’s purchase approval work in addition on devices that use them.

What "Not yet" means

From level 3 the fish get quicker and a miss costs sun (from the third miss in a round on Normal, every miss on Pro). When the sun goes down with fish left, the level ends with "Not yet": no star, the node stays unlit, and the fish still come to say hi in the moonlight. Replay the level for free as often as you like, or keep fishing from the continue card for gems — 100, then 200, then 400 within one round, at most three times, never with a countdown; "No thanks" is always one tap.

After four tries without a star on the same ordinary level, the next try comes with a bigger hook, announced on the level card. A few peaks need a particular rod or bait; their card says so with the price, and they are never required outside the campaign.

Deleting your data

Peekafish has no user account and stores nothing about you on a server of ours unless you switch on the buddy features. Everything lives on the device: Settings → "Reset all progress" (the "Start over?" dialog) erases all game data, and uninstalling the app removes everything as well. The privacy policy explains the details, including the optional buddy features and tank visiting.

New in 1.3

The age question at the start and the typed purchase gate are gone: one game for everyone, rated 13+, with the Shop’s Gems tab in place of the old corner. Settings offer Normal or Pro and Quiet hours.

Levels have real stakes: a miss costs sun, and a sun-out with fish left is a “Not yet” — replay for free or keep fishing for gems from the continue card. The aquarium places anything anywhere, and buddies can visit each other’s tanks once the buddy switch is on.

Frequently asked questions

What data does Peekafish collect?

None. Peekafish has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising networks, no chat and no access to location or contacts. Nickname, avatar, progress and settings stay on the device. Purchases go through the Shop with a plain "Buy for …" confirmation; the store receipt is processed by the RevenueCat SDK, which receives no personal data. The optional buddy features and tank visiting store only a random code, an avatar, scores and the layout of your decorations — everything else is in the privacy policy.

What does Peekafish cost?

The download is free, and everything in the game can be earned by fishing. The Shop’s Gems tab sells gem packs, one-time sets, the gem jar, the month’s Tide set and the Gold Tide Pass, a season pass for the current month that does not renew — no subscription, no automatic renewal, no loot boxes. Every price is shown before you buy, and purchased gems never expire.

Which ages is Peekafish for?

Peekafish is rated 13+ on the App Store and declared for ages 13 and over on Google Play; the terms set a minimum age of 13. There is no account and no age question in the app.

Can a level be failed?

Yes, since 1.3: a miss costs sun, and when the sun goes down with fish left the level ends with "Not yet" — no star, but the fish still come to say hi in the moonlight. Replay the level for free as often as you like, or keep fishing for gems from the continue card (100, then 200, then 400 gems within one round, at most three times, never with a countdown; "No thanks" is always one tap).

Does Peekafish need an internet connection?

No. The game works fully offline: levels, aquarium, Reef League, daily pond, duels and Splash Royale are all computed on the device. Only the store itself needs a connection when you buy something or restore purchases, and the optional buddy features when you switch them on.

Can several people play on one device?

Yes. Up to four fisher cards on one device, each with its own pond, aquarium and progress. Plus pass-and-play duels on one phone — no internet, no account.

Where can I get Peekafish?

Peekafish is on the App Store and on Google Play. The download is free.
