Peekafish
Peekafish terms of use
These terms apply to the Peekafish app for iOS and Android, published by CBDNOL GmbH (Seacliff Apps; address in the legal notice). The store you install the app from adds its own terms; where the store’s terms and these differ, the store’s terms apply to the download and the payment.
1. Minimum age 13
Peekafish is a 13+ game. You must be at least 13 years old to install and use it. The App Store rating and the Google Play audience declaration say the same, and the app asks no age question of its own.
2. The game and your licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play Peekafish on devices you own or control, for as long as the app is available in the store you installed it from. Peekafish, Boop, the fish, the seas, the art, the music and the texts belong to Seacliff Apps; you may not copy, sell, modify or redistribute them, cheat, or interfere with the app or the optional online features.
3. Purchases, gems and items
Gem packs, sets, the gem jar, the month’s Tide set and the Gold Tide Pass are bought through the App Store or Google Play at the price shown before the purchase; the store handles payment, receipts and refunds under its own terms. Every gem can also be earned by fishing; purchases never change the fish, the levels or the base odds, and no product has random content.
Purchased gems never expire. Gems, items, pieces, passes and stars exist only inside the game: they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another saved game or person. One-time sets can be restored with the same store account; gem packs, the jar, the Tide set and the pass are consumables and cannot. The welcome pack is offered for the first 24 hours after the first launch and the month’s Tide set until the date on its card; after that they are gone, as the cards say.
4. Fair play
There are no ads, no chat and no accounts. Other fishers are shown under sea-names. The optional buddy features and tank visiting are off until you switch them on; when they are on, only the data named in the privacy policy is stored under a random code. Share your buddy code only with people you choose, and do not use the online features to harass anyone — reactions are preset, and we may remove a code’s data if it is misused.
5. Changes and availability
We may change, pause or end levels, events, features and products as the game evolves; purchased gems stay in your saved game. Your saved game lives on your device (see the privacy policy) — back it up with your device’s own backup. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and the current version is always at this address.
6. Liability and law
Peekafish is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Seacliff Apps is liable only for intent and gross negligence; your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
